Margie L. Boss

Margie L. Boss, age 90, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. Margie was born in Louisville, Kentucky, on February 9, 1935, to the late William and Margaret Schelling. She was a devoted Catholic and a longtime member of Saint Mary's Navilleton. Margie was the owner and operator of A-Frame Beauty Salon in Galena, Indiana, where she proudly served her clients for over 20 years. She also volunteered at Floyd Memorial Hospital (Baptist Floyd Hospital) for over 20 years.

Margie is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 39 years, Louis G. Boss Sr; her sons, Louis G. Boss Jr., Michael W. Boss, and Dennis L. Boss; her siblings, Charlotte Luckett, Juel "Judy" A. Reece, and William L. Schelling; and her great-grandson, Brenden Stark.

Margie is survived by her children; Teri R. Ballew, Lisa M. (Brian) Combs, and Susan L. (Jeff) Riddle; her 16 loving grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana, on Monday, August 11, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am.

Her Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church-Navilleton, on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 11:00 am.
