Marietta “Nana” (Watkins) King, 60 years of age died Friday, March 27, 2015 at Clark Memorial Hospital. She was born February 8, 1955 in Louisville, KY to the late James Watkins and Mary Griffith. “Nana” was a child care provider working out of her home in Jeffersonville for many years, and was preceded in death by a step son Frankie Joe king.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Joseph F. King; brother, James Watkins (Jo); sisters, Kim Fisher (Brent), Linda Clark; nieces, Tabatha, Mary, Heather, Natasha; nephews, Donald, James; stepchildren, Marion Lee King, Steven Ray King, Crystal Daun King, Claudette Renee King.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 12:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home chapel with burial at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
