Mary "Collette" Schmidt

Mary "Collette" Schmidt, age 76, of Milltown, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022. Collette was born on April 24, 1946, in Oakland City, Indiana to the late Robert and Mary (Reyburn) Garrett. She graduated from New Harmony High School in 1964 and continued her studies to become an x-ray technician. Collett worked for Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Indiana as an x-ray technician until retirement. She was a faithful life-long member of the St. Paul Episcopal Church in New Albany, Indiana.

Collette was a kind and compassionate person and will be greatly missed!

She leaves behind her loving husband, Don Schmidt; son, Keith Schmidt (Anne); daughter, Susan Stephens (Rodney); grandchildren, Randal Stephens (Nikki) of Bainbridge, Georgia, and Kaitlyn Lee (Chris); great-grandchildren, Erin, Jaxon, Colton, Hayden, and Aubrae; siblings, Linda Foster (Ron) of Pensacola, Florida, Robert Garrett Jr. of Homer, Louisiana, Janet Dickerson (Rodney) of Homer, Louisiana, and Debbie Phillips of Santa Clause, Indiana.

Cremation has been entrusted to Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150
