Mary Kay Young

Mary Kay Young, 91, received eternal life on Tuesday, October 2, 2019. She was born on April 19, 1928 in New Albany, Indiana to the late William and Mary Baxter Nelson who preceded her in death. Mary Kay was a member of Christ's Community Church of the Nazarene.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 72 years, Lowell E. Young and a brother, William "Billy" Nelson.

She is survived by her sons, Larry (Sandy) Young and Robert (Becky) Young both of New Albany; three grandchildren, Jeremy (Stephanie) Young, Megan McMillin and Matthew Young; four great-grandchildren, Samantha Young, Jacob Young, Caroline McMillin and Elise McMillin; and a brother, Kenneth Nelson.

Her funeral service will be conducted Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road with burial to follow in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-8 on Friday, October 4, 2019 at the funeral home.
