Maurice F. Moyers

Maurice F. “Bud” Moyers, 97 years of age died Wednesday January 8th, 2020. He was a Switchman and retired after 40 years with the Indiana Bell Telephone Company. Maurice served during World War II and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He enjoyed growing roses and gardening and will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his family and many friends. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Willadeen (Givens) Moyers; four children, Susan Flanigan (Richard), David Moyers (Vickie), Steven and Scott Moyers, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Also surviving are five sisters and two brothers along with many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from: 11:00 am until 4:00 pm Sunday January 12th, at Kraft Funeral Service 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. A graveside service with Full Military Honors will be held at 12:00 Noon CST Tuesday January 14, 2020 at Render Cemetery, Knob Hill Road, McHenry, Kentucky near Beaver Dam, Kentucky.
