Maurice L. Traughber

He was married to the love of his life, Nancy Traughber for 62 years. Next to Nancy, fishing was his passion. Maurice served his country in the United States Air Force from 1958 to 1965. He was the owner and operator of J & T Construction Company for 30 years where he eventually retired.

Along with his wife Nancy, he is survived by his two daughters, Denise (Dale) Woolbright and Sonya (Dave) Seewer; five grandchildren, Megan (Kyle) Dowling, Joshua Seewer, Ryan (Lina) Woolbright, Tyler (Amanda) Seewer, Kayden Seewer; four great-grandchildren, Avery Bell, Aiden Bell, Madelynn Dowling and Mitchell Dowling; two brothers, Randy Traughber and Thomas Hodges; one sister Cindy Oser.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister, Velina Thomes and granddaughter, Angela Seewer Bell.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8, 2022 at 12 PM at the funeral home.
