Maynard Eugene "Zeke" Senzig

Maynard Eugene “Zeke” Senzig, 85 years of age died Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at his residence in Clarksville. He was a retired government service worker and a past Grand Knight and Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus #1348 in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

He was a devout member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Clarksville, where he ran the picnic bingo for many years. He was an active member of St. Anthony’s Men’s Club. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. Zeke was born in Prescott, Wisconsin and travelled during his youth with his father’s job. He was a graduate of Jeffersonville High School. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anne and John Senzig; and his first wife, Agnes Andres Senzig.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Pauline M. “Polly” Andres Hochadel Senzig; brother, Richard N Senzig (Sandra); 6 children, Maggie Senzig Cyphers (David), Susan Senzig Quesenbery (Larry), Patricia Senzig Albano Duncan (Roger), Lynn Hochadel Wilson, Laura Hochadel Ehalt (Bill), Rob Hochadel; 11 grandchildren, Shelley Cyphers Jennings (Steve), Andrew House (Jennifer), Cody Albano, Karina Duncan, Jon Camilotto, Ben Camilotto, Nick Wilson, Billy Ehalt (Heather), Kellie Ehalt DeSpain (Adam), Amanda Hochadel, and Erin Hochadel; 9 great grandchildren, Seth, Scott, Sean, Drew, Eli, Kaleb, Kassi, Jace, and Aiden

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Saturday at St. Anthony’s of Padua Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The family request expressions of sympathy go to St. Anthony’s Church or Providence High School.
