Michael W. Owen, 67, of New Albany, Indiana passed away June 20, 2021 at the home of his daughter in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on January 13, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late William Virgil Owen and Cleo Frances Owen. He was retired from Vic's Cafe with over 30 years of service. He was a former member of the VFW and American Legion and loved playing baseball.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter, Monica Owen.
Michael is survived by a daughter, Ashley (Jason) Roberts; a step-son, Wayne Jacobs; three grandchildren, Jayla Roberts, Conner Roberts and Jason Roberts Jr.; ex-wife that he loved very much, Debbie Altes and his favorite niece, Susan "Angie" Stone; and a brother, Dennis (Brenda) Owen.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home with burial to follow in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
