Nancy Evelyn (Hollowell) Moore

Nancy Evelyn (Hollowell) Moore, 84 years of age passed on Friday, May 31, 2019, at Maple Manor Christian Home with her family at her side. She was born in New Albany, Indiana, on June 9, 1934 to the late Ralph M. and Ercel (Sutton) Hollowell. She married her husband, Jack M. Moore, on December 17, 1954. Evelyn loved to travel and enjoyed the beauty and places that this country provides. She loved visiting the Smoky Mountains, Gatlinburg, as well as traveling to the mountains of the West. She also adored camping, cooking, and cheering on Indiana University athletics. She loved caring for and spending time with her family. Evelyn was a member of First Baptist Church of Sellersburg and will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her husband, family, and many friends. A special thank you to all of the staff at Maple Manor for the care given to Evelyn and her family. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Jack M. Moore; children, Kirk M. Moore, Kristin M. Pierce (Leonard), Kass M. Moore (Barbara); grandchildren, Kylee Moore, Krystal Moore; great grandchildren, Hannah and Gage; as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm on Wednesday and 9:00 am ~ 3:00 pm Thursday Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday June 6, 2019 in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with private burial following in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
