Patricia "Patsy" Weber was born in New Albany, Indiana on April 19, 1938 to parents Wilfred O. Weber and Blanche R. (Cade) Weber. She is survived by brother Phillip "Mike" (Wanda) Weber, nieces Kimberly Wietsma and Stephanie Magers, cousins Heidi and Jeff Sellers, Andrew, Alex, Jessica and Paul, grandnieces Leslie, Nikki and Michelle, grandnephews Cary and Travis, and a host of others.
A beloved lifelong resident of New Albany, Patsy was an avid Indiana University fan and a true Hoosier. Her favorite musician has always been Elvis and she would rather ask for forgiveness later than miss out on obtaining the newest album. A devout Catholic, she was a member of St. Mary of the Annunciation Church. Patsy started working at Rauch, Inc on April 4, 1973 and enjoyed a successful career that spanned 47 years. Upon retirement in 2020, her dedication, loyalty, hard work and friendly personality led her to receiving the great achievement of being honored by the Floyd County Commissioner's office with August 5th being dedicated as "Patsy Weber Day" There are not enough words to encapsulate who Patsy was to so many who were blessed to know her and feel her love. A loving sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Patsy's qualities and value were priceless. She never met a challenge she couldn't overcome and is proof that with a strong mind all things are possible. Her favorite pastimes included spending time with family and friends, watching her Hoosiers play ball, crosswords, and living independently by her own rules.
Patsy joined her heavenly family peacefully of natural causes on March 31, 2023 at her cousin's home in Sellersburg, Indiana surrounded by family and love.
