Paul C. Graf, 98, died on November 21, 2019. Paul was born in New Albany on June 2, 1921 to the late Henry and Margaret Graf. Paul retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was owner of Catty-Corner Antiques. He was a U.S. Army veteran, lifelong member of Holy Family Catholic Church, member of National Association of Retired Federal Employees, Floyd County Historical Society, and lifetime booster of New Albany basketball. He also was a master historian and, as such, he spearheaded the restoration of the Cardinal Ritter Birthplace and was instrumental in changing the name of the New Albany Little League Park to the Billy Herman Park. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 56 years, Norma A. “Honey” Millheiser Graf; and siblings Robert C., Mary E., and Ruth Jane Graf. Survivors include nieces and nephews, Thomas Mooney (Sharon), Christopher Mooney (Carol), Mary Pat Mooney, Maureen Shirely, Peggy Uskert (John), Edward Cordon (Teresa), and Susan Miller (Don); and many great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 3 pm ~ 8 pm Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany. His Funeral Mass will be 11:30 am Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
