Phyllis Kay Funk, age 77, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023. She was born May 11, 1945 in Laconia, IN to the late Carl Sr. and Cora Funk. Phyllis was a graduate of Georgetown High School and was a retired logistics manager from Rohm and Haas Chemical Co. in Louisville. She was a member of Edwardsville United Methodist Church and enjoyed golfing, taking vacations with her and friends and spending time with her family.
Phyllis is survived by her brother Carl Funk, Jr. (Vicky) sister, Audrey Carter (Gary), nieces, Christy Jacobi (Eric), and Jackie Flamm (Chris), great-nephews, Colin, Carter, and Mason, and great-niece, Ella.
Visitation for Phyllis will be held Tuesday, March 7, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Wednesday, March 8, 2023, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with entombment to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Stroke Foundation or Edwardsville United Methodist Church.
