Robert "Bob" Wimsatt, 56, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana was born on July 15, 1964 to Theresa Wimsatt and the late J. Robert Wimsatt. Bob went to his heavenly home on April 2, 2021 after a brave and well-fought battle with cancer. He was the founder and owner of HB Farms & Greenhouses which grew the most beautiful mums and petunias in the region. Bob took great pride in his work and always strived to be the best. He was truly "The Mum King". He and his business were known for their quality products and stellar customer service. Bob made many friends of customers over the years and earned the respect of others in the industry. During peak mum season, he would work countless hours to ensure his customers had quality product. He looked forward to opening the Mum Factory ever year, always enjoying seeing customers who came from neighboring regions and states to purchase his mums. Bob was an avid outdoorsman. He shared his passion for the outdoors with his sons, teaching them how to hunt, trap, fish and set trotlines at a young age. He loved to hunt and always enjoyed hunting trips with family and friends. He looked forward to taking his nephews hunting for the first time and always enjoyed hunting with his cousins and friends, especially his cousin, Mark Eisman and friend, Jeff Austin. He was always ready to go hunting or share hunting stories with family and friends. Bob was a hard worker and always gave 110% in everything he did. He loved his family and friends and was fiercely loyal. He was a loving son, husband, dad and was a doting grandpa. Bob was preceded in death by his father, J. Robert Wimsatt. He is survived by his mother, Theresa Wimsatt; his wife, Holly Wimsatt; two sons, Robert "Bobby" Wimsatt (Hillary) and Logan Wimsatt (Maria); two granddaughters, Ryleigh Jane and Hallie Paige; a grand dog, Diesel; two sisters, Linda Wimsatt and Kristie Pellman (Jerry); nieces, Theresa Applegate (Chase) and Kristin Paine (Nathan); nephews, Christopher Pellman (Margaret), Sean Pellman (Candice) and Nolan Pellman; and seven great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 and from 9-11 am on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at the funeral home with private burial in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
