Ruth Ann (Denzik) McKinney

Ruth Ann (Denzik) McKinney, 70 years of age, passed Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN. The daughter of the late Louis Eugene Denzik and Clara Melva (Back) O’Heher, Ruth was born June 16, 1951 in Louisville, KY. She was a member of the Pekin church of Christ. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Larry E. McKinney, brother, Michael Denzik; and granddaughter, Kelsey Harris.

She is survived by her children, Simon Harris (Teresa), Jeff Harris (Sien) and Lehia Mickells (Marshall); step-daughter, Melinda Bir (Tim); siblings, Edward Denzik (Robin), Marty Denzik (Kari), Theresa Kreke, Kelly Denzik, and Mitchell Denzik (Tammy); 11 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2 pm ~ 8 pm Tuesday and after 9 am Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 11 am Wednesday in the Kraft Spring Street Chapel with burial to follow in Galena Cemetery.
