Funeral services for Ryan Lee Hatfield, 24, of Floyds Knobs, will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 1, at Kraft Funeral Service, Charlestown Road Chapel, New Albany, with burial in Edwardsville Cemetery, Georgetown. He died Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010, at Norton’s Hospital, Louisville, surrounded by his family.
Ryan was a graduate of Floyd Central High School and attended Indiana University Southeast. He loved diesel trucks, four wheelers, motorcycles, Ford Rancheros, Country music and George Jones. He was a member of Park Christian Church in New Albany.
Survivors include his parents, Samuel Patrick and Candice Sawyer Hatfield; brother, Travis Hatfield; grandmother, Donna Sawyer; aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the National Organ Donor Program.
