Stella Taylor Conner, 96 years of age died Monday, July 5, 2010 at Autumn Woods Health Campus in New Albany. She was a native of Palmyra and the widow of two husbands, Thomas Taylor and Joseph Conner. She was a member of the Gamma Chi Sorority and a proud graduate of the New Albany High School Class of 1932 where she has remained active in reunion gatherings for some 78 years.
Survivors include sister, Edith Miller Craig; niece, Barbara Craig Wilcher; great nieces, Rosalind Metzmeier and Maralind Hess; great nephews, Ryan Shaw and Brian Wilcher; several great-great and great-great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Thursday in the Kraft Spring Street Chapel with burial to follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery in New Albany.
