

Stephen "Steve" W. King, an inspirational, faithful, and humorous man, passed away on November 13, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on October 8, 1950, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to the late Franklin L. King and Betty June Beaman King. Steve's life was characterized by his devotion and dedication to his faith and his unwavering belief in God.
Steve graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois, where he laid the foundation for a life filled with purpose and commitment. His marriage to Regina Kay Coomer-King of 54 years was a testament to his loving and devoted nature.
Steve is preceded in death by his parents, his loving son, Eric Stephen King, and his grandson, Gavin Stephen King.
Steve is survived by his devoted and caring wife, Regina Kay Coomer-King; his loving daughter, Angela King-Reynolds, her husband, Steve Reynolds, and their children Logan, Addison, Bryan, Emma, Claire, and Mason; his daughter-in-law, Jill Hulsey-King; and her children, Peyton, Kaylen, and Emerson; his siblings, Carol Anne Bisinger, Gary King, and Nancy Jackson-Coles.
His interests were deeply rooted in his personal relationship with Jesus Christ. His motto, "God is Large and in Charge.", came about after his first accident in 1995, which left him paralyzed.
Expressions of gratitude can be made in Stephen's memory to St. Jude's Children Hospital, www.stjude.org, a cause close to his heart.
A visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, located at 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana, on November 17, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. This will be followed by a funeral service at the funeral home, beginning at 2:00 pm.
Steve will be remembered for the love of his Lord, family, friends, and humor. He will always be an inspiration to the lives he touched.
