Sue Chaffin, 65 passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025. Sue was born in New Albany, Indiana on January 15, 1960 to Fayn and Lois Vest. She was retired from Samtec with over 32 years of service. She enjoyed gardening, canning and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Vickie and Linda.
Sue is survived by her husband of 46 years, Jay Chaffin; a son, Jason Chaffin (Adrienne); a granddaughter, Olivia Chaffin; siblings, Jr. Vest, Eva Vest and Sandy Prince and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Sue will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150.
Funeral service will be Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
