Terrell was a welder by trade. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on model cars as well as working in the garden.
Along with his parents, Terrell is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda (Whitis) Hooper; his son, Jeffrey Hooper; and one brother, Richard Hooper Jr.
He is survived by one brother, Timothy Hooper; one granddaughter, Kailyn Trimpe; 2 great grandchildren, Aubrey and Mya; nephew, Edwin Hooper; and great nieces and nephews, Ethan, Sofie, Jeffrey, Brittany, Shaun, Emma.
