Therese “Timmie” Williamson, 82 years of age, died Monday March 5, 2018, at her home with her family at her side. She was born March 25, 1935 in New Albany, IN to the late Oliver H. and Louise (Stein) Bocard and was a graduate of Presentation High School and Spalding University in Louisville, KY. Timmie was an elementary teacher at Our Lady of Perpetual Help School for many years and formerly in sales at Rodes Mens and Ports International clothing stores in Louisville, KY. She was a former member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Jeffersonville, IN and a member and former president of Tri Kappa Sorority. Timmie loved people, playing bridge, and reading. The family extends a special thanks to her caregiver, Rita Fenwick.
Survivors include her son, Mark Williamson (Amber); two grandchildren, Connor and Carson Williamson; two nephews, Steven and Michael Drewry (Lisa); four great nephews; nine great-great nieces and nephews; and her loving friend, Charles Morgan.
Visitation will be 4:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Thursday, March 8th, at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany. A Rosary Service will be held at 6:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 11:00 am Friday, March 9th, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Jeffersonville, Indiana. Private burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, New Albany.
