Thomas H. Kreilein

Thomas H. Kreilein, 76, passed away Monday, June 27, 2011 while on vacation in Washington D.C. The son of the late Albert and Frances (Mehringer) Kreilein, Tom was born October 2, 1934 in Jasper, Indiana. He received a BA from Indiana University and an MBA from Indiana State University and was retired from ResCare, Inc. as a Vice President of Finance. Tom served as Treasurer of the Floyd Memorial Auxiliary Board and was a member of the New Albany Library Board. He also managed an investment club for friends and family and was an avid reader and enjoyed watching the stock market. Tom was an Army veteran and member of Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Eleanor Sitzman, Wilfred Kreilein and Norbert Kreilein.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Donna Vaughn Kreilein; daughter, Kathy Whaley (Jeff); son, Jeff Kreilein (Pamela); brothers, Alfred Kreilein, Edward Kreilein; grandchildren, Mallory, Aaron and Scott Kreilein

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial at 3:00 pm Saturday at Fairview Cemetery in Jasper, Indiana.
