Victoria Rose Elder, 70 years of age died Monday, September 7, 2015 at her home in New Washington, Indiana. She was born October 13, 1944 in Cambridge, Ohio to the late Haven Scott and Wanda Kathleen Renner. Victoria was a certified nursing assistant at Floyd Memorial Hospital for 21 years and was a lifelong member of the Nazarene Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Elder; sons, Terry Elder and Darrell Elder; and brother, Louis Renner.
She is survived by her children, Jesse Elder (Kathy) of New Albany, Timothy “Tim” Elder of Elizabeth, William “Billy” Elder of Clarksville, Rebecca Ferree (Chuck) of New Washington; brother, Jerry Renner (Jan) of Pemberton, New Jersey; daughter-in-law, Joyce Elder of English; and 20 grandchildren.
A memorial reception will be from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm Saturday at Nazarene Church Parkwood, 950 Potters Lane, Clarksville, Indiana. Her memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday at the church.
The family requests expressions of sympathy to be delivered to 22611 Hwy 62, New Washington, Indiana 47162, due to the church not being available to accept deliveries prior to the service time.
