William “Peachie” Elliott, 76 The hearts of many are saddened at the passing of William "Peachie" Elliott. He was born April 23, 1937 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Robert and Mary Elliott. Peachie was a graduate from New Albany High School, Class of 1956, served honorably as a United States Marine, and was a lifelong employee of A.J. Siebert Company in Louisville. He loved his pets, playing cards with his family and friends, beating his buddies on the golf course, working in his yard, and was a big Louisville Cardinal fan at heart. He was a cherished father, brother, son, neighbor, and friend who set a standard for kindness, compassion, love, and humor. Peachie never met a stranger. He touched the lives of everyone he came in contact with and will be greatly missed by all. He was a man of honor who set an example on never giving up in life, fighting to the very end. Along with his parents, Peachie was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Elliott. Together, they will have a tee time in heaven.
