Yvonne D. Henderson

Yvonne D. Henderson, 81 years of age left this planet Sunday February 18, 2018 at Lincoln Hills Health Center. She was born January 12, 1937 in Braddock, PA. to the late Glessner and Irene (Carter) Henderson. She was a retired advertising executive with Jewell Food Services and part owner of Shenovy Inc. Her personality was electric, unique and infectious and she lived life to its fullest. Yvonne loved traveling, gambling, playing pool at the Low Life Pool Hall and the annual FanPoole “Derby Party”. She loved animals and supported many charities and will be fondly remembered and missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her soulmate and spouse, S.R. Bowman; sister, Toni Johnson (Alonzo); brother, Ronald Henderson (Doris); special aunt, Gail Amos; special friends, Jessica Fannin, Susan Cunningham, Debbie and Jim Kennington, Sherry and Andy Mercer; several nieces, nephews, in-laws, and many other relatives.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm Saturday at Kraft Funeral Service 2776 Charlestown Rd. Her Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday in the Kraft Charlestown Rd. Chapel. Private burial will be in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. Expressions of Sympathy to Floyd County Animal Rescue League and Humane Society.
