Zera Junior Elmore passed away in New Albany Indiana, February 2, 2015. He was surrounded by family and a longtime friend in his home. Junior was born April 2, 1945, in New Albany, IN to Marie Yeager. Junior took on work at an early age to provide for his siblings he later joined the army and served in the Vietnam War. After returning home He married the Love of his life Oneida Elmore in August of 1967. He worked for Moser Leather Co. He is preceded in death by his Mother Marie Yeager , his brothers Harry David Elmore & Rusty Reed. Cherishing his memory are his Loving wife Oneida Elmore, son Rick Elmore & daughter Kristy Elmore, sister Sue Kemp, brothers Roger Elmore, Randy Elmore, Paul Elmore, Doug Elmore, Tony Elmore, & Scott Reed. Brother in laws Martin Kemp, Marvin Weathers, Sister in laws Vicky Weathers & Kathy Hoffman, Nancy Elmore, and lifelong friend Herschel Hines.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service with military honors will be held at 11:00 am Friday at the funeral home chapel with private burial at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, IN.
