Anne M. Simon

Anne was the cherished daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (Lebeau) Frenette. She was a proud graduate of Bishop Stang High School and went on to earn a bachelor's degree in education from Bridgewater State University.

Devoting her entire career to education, Anne served as a dedicated teacher at Lincoln Elementary School, where she touched the lives of countless students.

Anne was the loving wife of Thomas Simon for 20 years. She is survived by her two sons, Joshua Bonville and his wife Ashley, and Jason Bonville and his wife Ashley. She was a proud grandmother to Maxwell, Holland, and Grey. Anne also leaves behind her three brothers, Richard Frenette and his wife Janet, Joseph Frenette and his wife Barbara, and David Frenette and his wife Jennifer, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In her personal life, Anne enjoyed traveling, vacations, and road trips. She and her husband also enjoyed trips to the casinos. Anne was a collector of dolls and Hallmark ornaments.

Anne will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 from 3:00PM to 6:00PM in the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.Relatives and friends are invited.
