Carolyn Elizabeth Belliveau

Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Mary T. (Desmarais) Sitarz. She resided in Acushnet for the past 42 years.

Carolyn worked as an inspector at the Acushnet Company- Golf Division until her retirement. She was a communicant of St. Joseph & St Therese Parish, enjoyed gardening, crafts and flowers.

Survivors include one son: Ernest P. Belliveau and his wife Teresa of Fairhaven, three daughters: Donna M. Goddu of Acushnet, Jeanne Belliveau of Acushnet, Tammie J. Belliveau and her life companion Randolph Duncan of Wareham, one brother: Anthony Martins, three sisters: Patricia August, Joan T. Bertrand, Barbara Andrade, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Her visitation will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 4-8pm at ROCK Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd, New Bedford. Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9am from Rock Funeral Home and 10am at St Joseph & St Therese, Acushnet Ave, New Bedford. Burial in Acushnet Cemetery.
