Cecile M. T. Pepin Robitaille

Cecile M. T. (Pepin) Robitaille, age 88, of New Bedford died Thursday, November 13, 2014 after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late O. P. Joseph Robitaille with whom she shared 56 years of marriage.

Cecile was born and raised in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Eugene and Yvonne (Levasseur) Pepin, and was a lifelong resident of the city.

Mrs. Robitaille was a homemaker for many years and had previously worked at Vander Electric. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church, enjoyed going to Foxwoods and was an avid Red Sox Fan. Together with her husband she spent many years volunteering and was a supporter of the Lions Club.

She is survived by a daughter Annette P. Lawrence and her husband, Raymond A. of Rochester; a son Robert A. Robitaille and his wife Monica N. of New Bedford; 2 brothers: Raymond Pepin and his wife Dorothy of Acushnet and Paul Pepin of New Bedford; 2 sisters: Lorraine Viera and her husband Edward of Mattapoisett and Rachel Jusseaume and her husband George of Acushnet; 4 grandchildren: Cynthia and Aaron Lawrence, Nicole Clattenburg and Andre Robitaille, and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Claire Donth.

Her Funeral will be held Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 8:00 am from the ROCK FUNERAL HOME, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford with a Funeral Mass at 9:00 am in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 4256 Acushnet Ave., New Bedford followed by burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visiting hours Monday from 5 to 8 pm.
