

Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Romeo and Lena (Johnson) Forand, she lived most of her life in East Freetown. She was a graduate of New Bedford High School and a communicant of St. John Neumann Church.
Mrs. Hogan had worked as a medical secretary in the healthcare field and was one of the co-owners at Treco Electric.
She enjoyed bowling, Bingo and playing cards every Saturday night with her husband. She was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished the time spent with her family and friends.
Her family includes three sons, Michael Hogan and his wife June of Lakeville, Paul Hogan and his companion Connie Guthier of Loudonville, NY and Glen Hogan and his fiancé Katlyn Mello of E. Freetown; a sister Pauline Forand of Fairhaven; seven grandchildren, David, Taylor, Jillian, Patrick, Joey and Olivia Hogan and Kendyl Mello; one great-grandchild, August Hogan. She was sister of the late Raymond and Paul Forand.
Her Funeral will be held on Monday, September 28, 2015 at 9 AM from the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd, New Bedford followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in St. John Neumann Church, 157 Middleboro Rd., E. Freetown. Visiting hours Sunday 4-7 PM. Burial will be private.
