Diana Lynn Thomas

Born in New Bedford, a daughter of Albert and Patricia (Harrison) LaFountain of East Freetown, she was a lifelong resident of the area.

Diana loved helping others and was very devoted to her family.

Besides her husband and parents she is survived by two daughters, Angela Thomas of Dartmouth and Tristan Thomas of Taunton; a son, Donald Thomas III of East Freetown; two sisters, Kimberly Cravinho of Freetown and Helene Fortin of Fairhaven; three brothers, William LaFountain of New Bedford, Roger and David LaFountain both of Freetown; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Kenneth LaFountain.

Her funeral will be held Monday, January 7, 2013 at 9 AM from the ROCK Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 AM in St. John Neumann Church, 157 Middleboro Rd., East Freetown. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visiting hours, Sunday 5-8 PM.
