Dolores A. Gajewski

Born in Acushnet, a daughter of the late Christopher and Helen (McQuade) Corrigan she was a lifelong area resident. She loved to travel and socialize with family and friends.

Dolores worked as an office clerk at Stop & Shop for 30 years.

She is survived her sons, Patrick Gajewski of New Bedford; and Thomas Gajewski and his wife Tracy of Lakeville; daughter-in-law, Kathy Gajewski; six grandchildren, Megan, Andrew, Peter, Sean and his wife Justine, Craig and his companion Breanna O’Connor, and Gwendylan; sister, Patricia Root; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Steven Gajewski and sister of the late Helen Phaneuf.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, March 14, 2022 at 10 a.m. in St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish, 343 Tarkiln Hill Road, New Bedford followed by burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. For online tribute/directions: www.rock-funeralhome.com.
