

Born in Acushnet, a daughter of the late Howard and Beatrice (Blanchette) Verrier, she resided in the South Coast area all of her life.
Doris was a graduate of Holy Family High School and Kinyon - Campbell Business School. She worked as a sales clerk at Garlington Florist until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening, family gatherings, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be forever remembered as a loving and gentle person who always put others first.
Survivors include her 2 daughters, Gail Conceicao and her husband Dennis of Johnston, RI; Sandra Critchley and her husband David of Londonderry, NH; a brother Normand Verrier of New Bedford; 5 grandchildren, Ryan Conceicao, Michelle Dunne, Kerrin Conceicao, Bethany and Oksana Critchley; 3 great- grandchildren, Jake, Cole and Mason Dunne; her lifelong friend, Mildred Critchley; many loving cousins, especially the Rog family; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late A. Howard “Bugsy” Verrier.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 10 am at St Julie Billiart Church,494 Slocum Road, Dartmouth, MA. Burial in Rural Cemetery. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted. Family and friends are invited to attend a repast at Rachel’s Lakeside, 950 State Road, Dartmouth immediately following the burial.
