Edith M. Simon

She was born July 10, 1931 in Marion, Massachusetts the daughter of Frances and Frank Fostin. She resided in New Bedford all her life. Mary was married to Henry Simon on April 28th 1951.

She was a stay at home mom and loved crafts of all kinds. She enjoyed painting wood crafts, crocheting, knitting, and sewing or making any type of craft project. She enjoyed visiting each summer in Ohio with her daughter, Carol Bryant (Simon) and her husband James and her granddaughter Julie. Mom also enjoyed visiting with her son in Maine.

Survivors include her husband Henry, two children, Carol Bryant of Thompson Ohio, and son Charles (Chuck) Simon of Lubec Maine.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers Frank and John, and a sister, Francis (Kittle).

There will be a private viewing and Cremation will follow. Memorial services will be held.at a later date.
