Edna Lucille Jenkins, age 94, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Alden Court Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Marcel Emile Jenkins. Born in New Bedford she was the daughter of the late Delina (Souliere)and Delisca Marchand.
Edna worked at Aerovox Corporation for 33 years, loved to play BINGO, cards, read, go to Foxwoods, but most of all she loved to spend time with family.
Survivors include a son, Maurice N. Jenkins and his wife Brenda of Honolulu, HI, a granddaughter, Diane T. Graham and her husband Scott of Hilo, HI, 4 great-grandchildren: Ossian, Dakotah, Nicole, Mason and many nieces and nephews.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 16, 2018 10 am at St Joseph-St Therese Church, Acushnet Ave., New Bedford. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 10 am. Arrangements are in the care of ROCK Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.
