Born in New Bedford, the son of Edward and Janice (Deakin) Watson of Acushnet, he was a longtime resident of Acushnet.
He was a graduate of New Bedford Vocational High School, class of 1993.
Erik had a successful career as a Master Electrician in Massachusetts since the late 1990’s. He also had electrical licenses in Rhode Island, Connecticut and New Hampshire. He was formerly employed as Vice President of Beaumont Solar Co.
He was a breeder of pedigree Dalmatians and enjoyed the company of all his dogs.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his children, Andrew and Nicole Watson and Christopher Trombly of Acushnet; a sister, Kristen Garrison and her husband Brian of New Bedford; his nieces and nephews, Erin, Colin and Ayla Garrison; and his former wife, Heather (Reed) Watson.
