Gerard Roger Parent

Born in New Bedford, a son of the late Emile and Constance (Surprenant) Parent. He was a lifelong resident of the city and was a graduate of New Bedford Vocational technical High School. Jerry was employed as a Laborer for Titleist for more than 10 years. Jerry loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved his Shelties, hiking and was an avid reader.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his children, Rick Parent and his wife Doreen of NH and Paul Parent and his companion Christy of New Bedford; his grandchildren, Patrick Parent of NH, Matthew Parent of Assonet and Joules Parent of NH; a great-grandson, Kaynen; his siblings, Paul Parent of Acushnet and Marc Parent and his wife Cheryl of New Bedford, Louise Parent of New Bedford and Paulette Parent of Taunton; and two nieces, Melanie and family and Penny and family.
