Gordon Bradlee Buzzell

Born in Connecticut, a son of the late Gordon B. Buzzell, Sr. and Patricia (Lansell) Withee he graduated from Rockland High School and went on to serve in the United States Army.

Buzzy worked as a welder/fabricator. He thoroughly enjoyed working on the waterfront. In his spare time he enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, model building and he loved football. Especially the New York Jets.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Tyler Buzzell of New Bedford and stepson, Jason Vaughan of Fall River; children Michelle Benner of Rockland, ME and Gordon Knowlton of Thomaston, ME; two grandchildren, Adrien Buzzell and Arianna Vaughan; two sisters, Theresa Cousens and Lisa Bannister; a brother, Aaron Withee; and several nieces and nephews.

His memorial visitation will be Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 4-7 p.m. in the ROCK FUNERAL HOME, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford with a service at 6 p.m. Burial will be private. For online tribute/directions www.rock-funeralhome.com.
