Herminia Jerome

Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Cezar and Maria (Jesus) Miranda, she was a former communicant of Immaculate Conception Church.

Mrs. Jerome worked as a stitcher in various local garment facilities. In her spare time, she enjoyed camping, traveling in the family motorhome, and taking long car rides.

She is survived by her children, Richard Jeronymo and his wife Karen of New Bedford, Albert Jeronymo, Jr. and his wife Jeanne of New Bedford, and Carol Raposo and her husband Jose of New Bedford; siblings, James Miranda of New Bedford and Florence Dinis of New Bedford; nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Caesar Jeronymo, Linda Marie, and Dolores Jeronymo and sister of the late Cezar Miranda, Joseph Miranda, Alice Miranda, Mary Correia, Hilda Bernardo, and Susie Fernandes.
