

Jason M. Nightlinger, age 32, of Acushnet, died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Lahey Clinic in Boston. He was the husband of Jennifer M. (Blouin) Nightlinger with whom he shared 12 years of marriage.
Born in New Bedford, the son of Bryan Nightlinger and Linda (Renaud) DelVal, he had resided in New Bedford before moving to Acushnet 5 years ago. He was a graduate of New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School, class of 2001.
Jason was a licensed electrician and worked for Wayne J. Griffin Electric, Inc.
Jason enjoyed camping, fishing, skiing, family trips and time at the beach. He was a handyman who was always willing to help anyone in need. Most of all, he loved spending time with his girls, Jennifer, Madison, Gianna and Leigha.
Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are his daughters, Madison, Gianna and Leigha Nightlinger; a sister, Julie Nightlinger and her fiancé Andrew Bonville; maternal grandparents, Roger and Pauline Renaud; a nephew, William Bonville; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was the brother of the late Jeffrey Nightlinger and grandson of the late James and Geraldine Nightlinger.
His Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 9:30am in St. Joseph-St. Therese Church, Acushnet Ave., New Bedford. Visiting hours Friday 4-8pm in ROCK FUNERAL HOME, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeffrey Nightlinger’s memory may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, PO Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202.
