Jeffrey Pereira

Jeffrey M. Pereira, 58 of New Bedford, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Massachusetts General Hospital with his family by his side. He was the husband of Roxana (Marshall) Pereira to whom he shared 25 years of marriage.

Jeff was raised in Dartmouth, Ma, son of Francisco and Evelyn (Ramos) Pereira. He was a proud Dartmouth High School graduate, class of 1981. Family came first to Jeff. He was an avid New England sports teams’ fan, loved his X-Box, stand-up comedy, and his cat Dory. Jeff enjoyed summers by the pool and cook outs with his family. He will be deeply missed.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his children, Tatum Pereira and Tara Freitas and her husband Marc, all of New Bedford.; his three beautiful grandchildren, Abby, Lauren and James. He is also survived by his siblings, Patricia Duval and her husband Leo of Dartmouth, Beverly Arigano and her husband Russell of Dartmouth, Michael Pereira and his wife Sheila of Dartmouth, Kathy Adams and her husband Don of New Bedford, Kenneth of Dartmouth and Richard Pereira and his wife Robin Luiz of New Bedford, and Brian Pereira of Dartmouth; and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Cindy Viera and Steven Pereira.
