John Belliveau

John Belliveau, 62, of New Bedford, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2012. Born in Acushnet, a son of the late Joseph Raymond Belliveau and the late Irene (Ferreira) Belliveau, he was a lifelong resident of New Bedford.

John was employed as a carpenter for all of his life and worked with his brother at Belliveau Construction until his accident. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, the beach and all New England sports teams.

Survivors include his siblings, Diane Rego of New Bedford, Phillip Belliveau and his wife Cheryl of E. Freetown, Paul Belliveau and his wife Arlene of Rochester and Florida, Peter Belliveau and his wife Cissy of Illinois and Patricia Young of Acushnet; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was the brother of the late Andrew Belliveau.

Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 from 4-6pm followed by a service at 6pm in the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. Burial private.
