
Born in Newport, RI, a son of the late Virgil Cline and Victoria (White) McCleary, he was a longtime resident of the Southcoast. Ken was a graduate of Newport High School and obtained his associates degree from Bristol Community College. He was employed as a professional chauffeur for many years prior to his retirement.
Kenneth and his wife started the New England Border Collie Rescue more than 30 years ago and were responsible for the placement of hundreds of Border Collies throughout the United States. He had a great passion for Hot Rods and radio controlled airplanes and boats.
He is survived by his children, Sean Cline of CT and Mona Lisa Cline of GA; a brother, Doug McCleary and his wife Mary of East Falmouth; and his favorite PUP, Abby. He was the brother of the late Gordon McCleary.
