Kenneth Freitas

Kenneth had a great love for his family, many friends and his beloved cats. He greatly enjoyed music, movies, traveling, playing Bingo with Debbie, Joyce and their friends, and eating his favorite foods.

Prior to his retirement over two decades ago, he worked for many years for New Bedford's fishing industry.

Born in Acushnet, he was the son of the late Augustine Freitas and Mary (Costa) Santos; brother of Robert Freitas and Joyce Brodeur of Fairhaven; partner of 52 years to Deborah Nunes; father of Mark, Ryan and Brandon Freitas of New Bedford and the late Scott and Kevin Freitas; grandfather of Mark Jr., Jill, Corey, Ayden, Ellie and Jacy; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
