Lillian T. Avila

Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Ernest and Laura (LeFleur) Fournier, she was a lifelong resident of New Bedford. She was a stitcher for more than 45 years in in the local garment industry. Lillian loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren. She was a former member of the German Club. She enjoyed trips to the casino, yard sales and flea markets.

Lillian is survived by her children, Laura Murray of Attleboro, Debra Allain and her husband Bob of New Bedford and Robert LeCroy and his wife Maria of New Bedford; a sister, Norma Pimental of New Bedford; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Lilian was the mother of the late Carol Moura.

Her burial will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 12:00PM in Pine Grove Cemetery, 1100 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, MA 02745. Relatives and friends are invited.
