Lorraine C. Greene

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Germain Cousin and Juliette (Blanchett) Cousin, she lived in New Bedford her entire life.

Lorraine was a graduate of New Bedford High School and the former Campbell Secretarial School. She worked as a legal secretary at various firms until her retirement. She was a former member of the New Bedford Junior Woman’s Club and the Ivy Circle of New Bedford.

She is survived by her son Timothy Greene and his wife Patricia Almeida-Greene of Acushnet; 2 grandchildren, Rebecca Greene of Providence; Rachel Greene of Boston and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Jacqueline Scherer.

Her graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 11am at Pine Grove Cemetery, Ashley Blvd, New Bedford. Visiting hours will be held 10-10:45am prior to the graveside service at the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd, New Bedford.
