Lucie Anne Medeiros

Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Antone and Beatrice (Lamoureux) Francis she lived most of her life as a resident of the city.

Lucie worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She was a member of The Mission of the Immaculate Mediatrix at Our Lady’s Chapel in Downtown New Bedford. She was a faithful woman who committed most of her time to adoration of Our Lord.

Her family would like to thank her caregiver, Stephanie Parreira for her time and dedication in caring for her grandmother, Lucie.

She is survived by two sons, Sean Medeiros of New Bedford and Tracy Medeiros of Edgartown; two sisters, Nancy Letendre of Cape Coral, FL and Diane Sturtevant of Chandler, AZ, nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late MaryBeth Furrowh.
