Lucille Vasconcellos

Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Adelard and Alice (Dumontet) Bourassa she grew up in New Bedford and lived for twenty plus years in Ft. Meyers, FL.

Mrs. Vasconcellos was a stitcher for several local factories and she was a member of the AMVETS Auxiliary.

She is survived by four children, Barbara Medeiros and her husband Arnold of New Bedford, Garry Vasconcellos of Fairhaven, Cindy Lou Andrade and Bruce Vasconcellos of New Bedford; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was the grandmother of the late Arnold D. Medeiros and the sister of the late George Bourassa and Florence Gregson.

Her memorial visiting hours will be held Saturday, February 14, 2015 from 4-7 p.m. in the ROCK FUNERAL HOME, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. Burial will be private.
