Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, the daughter of the late Manuel Frias Carola and the late Maria da Conceicao Piava, she was employed as a Stitcher in the garment industry for many years.
She is survived by her daughter Teresa Sgambato and her husband Frank of N. Providence; three grandchildren Christopher Sgambato, Melissa Liborio and Jennifer Liborio; four great grandchildren and a great great grandchild. She was also the mother of the late Gil and Tony Liborio.
Her visitation will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026 from 10-11 a.m. in the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, followed by her Funeral Service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
