He had an incredible passion for music. He would often blast it in the truck, turning every drive into a mini concert, belting out the lyrics with pure joy. I’ll always cherish those moments together, filled with energy and laughter. His favorite song in his final days was "One of These Days" by the Foo Fighters. He knew every word, and it became a special melody that resonates with me now. It’s a beautiful reminder of his spirit and the joy he found in music.

One day, we were supposed to be working, but everything changed when he spotted a music store with a big guitar sign out front. With a twinkle in his eye, he turned to me and said, “Find a parking spot; we’re going in!” 
As soon as we stepped inside, it was like stepping into a different world. His energy had brightened as he marveled at the array of instruments. I watched, as he picked up guitars, sharing his knowledge of each one—naming brands and styles with such excitement. It was clear that this was more than just a store for him; it was a playground.
He quickly made friends with other customers, chatting and sharing stories as if they were old pals. I was always amazed how effortlessly he connected with everyone around him. Time seemed to fly as he played every instrument he could get his hands on, completely lost in his joy.
Eventually, I had to gently drag him out of the store, reminding him that we had to get back to work. Even as we walked away, I could see his bright light. That made his day! That was a good day, leaving me with a memory of a day when work took a backseat to his love for music

Mr. Raffa would frequently come into the dunkin I worked at and what a sweet, kind, caring, gentle man. It didn't matter what kind of day it was you could always count on seeing his bright beautiful infectious smile. He was truly one of my favorites. I will miss him tremendously as I do already. I pray his family has the strength they need to get through this very difficult time. He was a wonderful man and will be missed greatly.

I am saddened to have learned that Mark passed away.  
Our sons played baseball together many years ago, and he always asked how my son was doing - even remembered his name.
He was a bright presence when he stopped by my office.

I remember Mark from my teenage years hanging out on Ball's Corner and Johnny D's . He was such a handsome kid and always so very polite. My condolences to his wife and family. May he rest in peace.

My cousin Mark will be greatly missed. I  loved being around him because he had a fun loving spirit and always wanted to connect and find something to laugh about.
When we were kids we grew up together and spent many weekend days at his family’s home on Terry Lane and summer  days at Fort Rodman beach.
As teens Mark and my oldest brother Moe were best of friends so we enjoyed having him over our house quite frequently. He always had a big smile when he came over to our house and would take the time to have conversations. He loved being around our family. I will treasure the happy memories of my cousin Mark.
