Patrice Marie Viera

Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Edward T. and Marie P. (Caruso) Viera, she was a lifelong area resident.

Patti graduated from Fairhaven High School, class of 1973, and worked in the Golf Ball Division for the Acushnet Company until her retirement. Her passion was her family, especially her nieces and nephews and Team Carrier in honor of her great-nephew Devin Carrier.

She is survived by two sisters, Carolyn Dwyer and her husband James of New Bedford and Mary Bourassa and her husband Gerard of New Bedford; a brother, John Viera; a brother-in-law, Andre Carrier; seven nieces and nephews, Darlene Braga and her husband Eli, Jamie Dwyer and his wife Kim, Michael Carrier and his wife Joanne, Aaron, Christine and Alan Carrier, Philip Lawrence and his wife Tara; six great-nieces and nephews, Matthew Seland and his wife Lena, Macey Forrester and her husband Chris, Logan, Ethan, Quinn and Reese Carrier, and James and Katherine Dwyer; and one great-great-nephew, Jonathan Paul Forrester. She was the sister of the late Edward T. Viera, Jr. and Maryanne Carrier, and the aunt of the late Craig Viera and Devin Carrier.
